La Boia was founded in 2008 by Anna Montanyà and Sebastian Schaal.
They both studied theater and film studies at Humboldt University in Berlin. While Anna is in charge of directing and post-production, Sebastian works behind the camera and handles a large part of the production work.
As filmmakers, we are passionate about storytelling and dedicated to spotlight forgotten, buried tales, that come alive in both short fiction and documentary films.
In addition to our filmmaking, La Boia is committed to producing digital content that showcases startups and their innovative products in an artistic and innovative way.
We embrace a cross-media approach that allows us to explore various genres and styles.
